Wright Tree Service Names New Senior Vice President and Vice President

January 31, 2018

Wright Tree Service (WTS), an employee owned company specializing in utility vegetation management, recently named Wade Myers as senior vice president and Rick Bonifas as vice president. These changes are effective January 1, 2018.

Myers has been with WTS for more than 30 years, and has worked in operations throughout his career, holding almost every position in the company starting at the groundman level and most recently vice president, presiding over several divisions through the company’s U.S. territory. With this change, Myers increases his geographic footprint and presides over eight of the company’s 14 divisions.

Bonifas started with WTS in Utah as a project manager in 2005 before moving to California in 2009 to manage west coast operations. Prior to his promotion to vice president, Bonifas was the regional manager over the company’s west coast divisions and will continue to manage these areas in his new role as vice president.

“Wade and Rick have the experience and leadership skills that we look for at Wright Tree Service,” said Will Nutter, president and COO of Wright Tree Service. “We’ve grown substantially over the last few years, specifically the last five, and it is a true testament to how we do business… we hold customer service in high regard and we maintain strong relationships with our customers.”
