Saluting Branches Day of Service
In September, Wright Tree Service (WTS) proudly renewed its support of Saluting Branches Day of Service.
Saluting Branches is considered the largest one-day volunteer event in the industry and is dedicated to recognizing and honoring our veterans. The focus and goal is to make our veterans’ final resting place a beautiful and safe environment for all who visit. This year marked the organization’s ninth annual day of service.
In addition to our corporate sponsorship, WTS supplied volunteers and equipment on the ground across 11 different cemeteries. As we continue to celebrate our 90th anniversary year, we were excited to see more than 135 WTS volunteers demonstrating their dedication to our core value of stewardship. We were also thrilled that our crews could facilitate the first-ever Saluting Branches event in Puerto Rico.
“It’s something my division looks forward to participating in every year,” said Division Manager Nate Johnson. “My crews are involved annually, and it allows us to build relationships with the local cemetery staff. It’s rewarding for both me and my crews to give back to our local communities, and having fun while doing it is an extra bonus.”
WTS is proud to support Saluting Branches year after year and can’t wait to celebrate in 2024.
